PAINTED
The traditional way of creating a sign, was to paint or airbrush it on various surfaces. Sometimes the letters were gilded.

CUT VINYL
Letters and shapes are cut out of vinyl on a plotter and applied to substrates and vehicles.

PRINTED
The latest technology allows any image or graphic to be printed onto vinyls, banners, boards. The vinyls are then applied to any surface. Vehicles and even buildings are now wrapped in digital prints.

RAISED LETTERS
When flat or raised letters and shapes are stood off to give more dimension and depth.

Sometimes we build signs in multi layers. Using various materials gives the sign more dimension.

We engrave onto any flat surface and this also gives the sign more dimension.

Digital Signs

MONITORS
When digital media is displayed on monitors. These monitors can be LCD, PLASMA or LED.

PROJECTED
When digital media is projected onto screens, walls or any suitable surface. This allows for larger displays than monitors.

LED
When the display is made of banks of LED's. Digital messages and media is displayed. They can be very bright and go any size. Very good for huge displays.

INTERACTIVE KIOSKS
Normally have touch screens and you can retrieve information from a databases by pressing buttons on the screen. Very popular in libraries, airports, post offices and shopping malls.

Illuminated Signs

INTERNALLY LIT
Using boxes with neon tubes inside. The sign has translucent faces to allow the light to shine through.

EXTERNALLY LIT
Trough lights are very popular for this. But any means of shining an external light or spotlights onto a sign. This method is very popular with pubs.

BACK LIT
This method is mostly used to illuminate stood off letters from the back. The light escapes around the back and gives a very nice, soft illuminated effect.

NEON
This is a very old and effective way to light up the sky. Neon tubes are bent into shapes. Comes in many bright colours.

Freestanding Signs

A FRAMES
Also called pavement signs. A double-sided sign. Also comes in many shapes and formats. Not all pavement signs are A frames.

POP UPS AND PULL UPS
Mostly used at exhibition stands. These signs are nice and big and can be dismantled and packed away into small packages.

BANNERS IN FRAMES
Banners can now be stretched around portable lightweight framework and quickly assembled anywhere.
